Enrolling/Transferring to ACT Public Schools

Your local public school has a place for your child to learn, develop and reach their potential. Online enrolment in the ACT can be made for children from Preschool through to Year 12, for ACT residents and NSW residents in the region surrounding the ACT.

Online enrolment for the current school year can be made using the relevant link below. Enrolment applications are assessed throughout the year when submitted.

If you have any questions about enrolment or schooling, such as setting up healthcare supports or inclusion and access adjustments for your child, please contact the school as soon as possible to discuss how we can best welcome, support and include your child.

Enrolling/Transferring to Duffy Primary School

The Duffy Primary School priority enrolment area includes the suburbs of Duffy, Holder and Weston. Parents/carers are welcome to apply to enrol/transfer their child at any time during the school year using the online application form at the following link -  https://www.education.act.gov.au/public-school-life/enrolling-in-a-public-school.

We encourage families to visit the school before enrolling their child. By doing this we can explain our school and programs to you and help you to know how to best prepare your child for school. Please contact the Front Office on 6142 2510 to arrange an appointment. In Term 4, information evenings are held for parents and carers of children commencing preschool and kindergarten in the following school year.

The following items are required upon enrolment:

• Birth Certificate
• Immunisation records
• Proof of address x2
• Medical information sheet
