Set up for Success: ACT-wide approach to effective transitions
As part of Set up for Success: An Early Childhood Strategy for the ACT the Directorate has launched an ACT-wide approach to effective transitions, designed to support a consistent approach to transitions between early childhood settings and schools. Effective transitions rely on schools, educators and families working together to make sure the child’s story is passed along and their needs are met across settings.
The new resources include:

- Implementation Guide for Educators
- Home Learning Resources for families
- How to effectively use C&T Statements video resource*.
The new video resource* provides information on the benefits of using the statements in the preschool context. School leaders should consult with preschool staff on how they might embed the C&T Statements into their transition practices.
